Three Firms Announce Recall of Bicycle Helmets
Variflex Inc., NHS Inc., and First Team Sports Inc. are voluntarily recalling
about 243,000 helmets that fail impact testing required under CPSC's Safety Standard for
Bicycle Helmets, violating the Consumer Product Safety Act.
K2 Skate Recall
WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC),
K2 Corp., of Vashon, Wash., is recalling about 12,000 "FLIGHT ALX" brand in-line
skates.

This group warns that billions of dollars for trails will be lost unless States

The SF Board of Supervisors appoints David Miles (a.k.a. the Godfather
of Skating) to the San Francisco Skateboard Task Force. Don't let
"Skateboard" fool you, though-this task force should help to assure
the rights of all types of skaters.

National body for recreational skating in the UK offering lessons and a
searchable instructor list.
